Lower Facelift- To perform a lower face lift, also known as a neck lift, the surgeon will make an incision under the chin, often extending to behind the ears. It is appropriate for those with sagging neck skin and is often performed in conjunction with a face lift, as the skin on the neck and face is continuous.
Eyelids - Blepharoplasty is a procedure designed to improve the appearance of the eyelids. It is done on the upper and lower eyelids; the excess skin is removed, the inner tissues such as muscles and tendons around the eyes are manipulated in order to improve the general appearance, diminish the “tired” look of the eyes, the periocular wrinkles and the fat deposits (bags) in the lower eyelid.
The fat deposits on both eyelids is resected or repositioned, achieving a rested and alert look.
Incisions are done in natural skin folds so that they are almost imperceptible. In some instances, surgery can be performed through an incision in the inner part of the eyelid.
